The Episcopal Church Building Fund (ECBF) is an independent agency serving the Episcopal Church. Its mission is "Helping Build the Church and Helping the Church to Build". You can support the growth and development of the Episcopal Church through a gift to the permanent fund of the ECBF.

Based at the national headquarters of the Episcopal Church, the ECBF responds to congregations throughout the U.S. and internationally with partners within the Anglican Communion. The ECBF was established in 1880, aiding in the planting and development of congregations as the country was expanding and developing. Gifts from dioceses, individuals, and congregations committed to the growth of the church provided a permanent endowment fund that continues to work today.

You are encouraged to contribute to this revolving fund to help new, historic, and growing congregations fund buildings to will serve as a tool of their ministry, and to develop healthy thriving congregations that invite new members. The ECBF mission has expanded from its primary focus on funding to a mission that includes training and educational resources on church development and health, a process for planning building projects, and a revolving loan fund for building projects.

The ECBF is financially autonomous, receiving no ongoing support from the national church budget or General Convention. All ECBF services and loans are funded entirely from its endowment and investments, which has been built up over the years through gifts and bequests and retained earnings. Please join in contributing to the revolving fund.

Gifts and bequests to the Fund (a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization) are gifts that keep giving in perpetuity as they will enable the Fund to continue building the congregations of this Church through ongoing loans and services.
