Linda Van Eckoute
I joined the team as ECBF Executive Administrative Assistant following a 20 year plus career in healthcare management. My healthcare career began during my last year of college while I was working towards my degree in Journalism at Marshall University in Huntington, WV.
Personal life experiences always led me to an entirely different destination than what I planned or expected! The national TV news anchor job never came my way and the world’s greatest novel is yet to be written. Still my education and penchant for journalism and creativity has served me well even when in the medical or hospital setting.
When I began my position with ECBF, I quickly found that this was an organization I was going to be extremely proud of representing. I have been so inspired by the dynamics of the coaches, the recasting process, and the work involved to assist churches in their goals and transformation.
I have always had a heart for giving back to the community. Some of my recent involvements include organizing fund raisers for the local food bank, children’s back pack programs, and campaigning for the March of Dimes, and Breast Cancer Awareness.
My husband Jim is a native of Grosse Point, Mi. and is a retired Project Manager with Unisource Worldwide Corporation. He has moved me around the country from Huntington, WV to Akron, Ohio, Columbus, Ohio, Mobile, Alabama, and final destination Richmond, Va. We happily reside on the 7th hole of Birkdale Golf Course with my 3 four legged “children”, Wiggles, Stryker, and Miki Moto.
